As many of you know, Florida is dealing with some major weather…affecting travel. This post is regarding Disney World and Universal Orlando. This right here, is exactly why you should book through a travel advisor. We book and work directly with Disney, we help in situations just like this. When you book through Costco, usually booking the same rates, but getting a perk like a gift card, you are booking with an 800 number, and most likely with a call center agent that’s never even been to a theme park, and maybe never even traveled!! When something goes array, you’re s&$t out of luck. I feel so awful that this family is out thousands of dollars, while Costco truly just pocketed it…this would never happen when booked with a travel advisor through Disney. Just remember that next time you’re hoping to save some money…it might end up costing you a small fortune.
